In early 2007 The Capers began work on their live set list writing songs such as Babies With Rabies, It's On My Face Mitch and Send In The Clowns

The Crotch Capers met at Access to Music Lincoln and formed in the autumn of 2006.
After a small line up change the band became who they are today:

James Weaver (smigul) Vocals
Daniel Neale (Wiggles) Guitar
Shane Atkinson (Shane) Drums
James Cafferkey (Caffs) Bass

In February '07 The Crotch Capers began their gigging career, playing there high energy show all over Lincolnshire getting chance to play with bands such as, Midassuno, Glitch, Get Amped, The Frontline, The Living Daylights, Analysis Failed and many more.

The Crotch Capers have also played in Manchester at the ATOM live (national Access to Music Battle of The Bands) where they had the opportunity to show case there music to Access To Music Students, members of the public, friends and family.

The Crotch Capers play a style of Punk rock music mixed with some ska and hardcore influences, but the difference between The Crotch Capers and other Punk/Ska/Hardcore cross-over's is the tongue in cheek factor, the lyrics these guys write are written not to be taken seriously, 'A lot of people who play punk rock music wright the same songs about the same issues we wanted to have some fun and sing songs that have no specific meaning just good fun music'

In the Autumn of 2007 The Crotch Capers began home recording there e.p. which four of the tracks can be heard at www.myspace.com/crotchcapers .

The Crotch Capers are looking to promote their music by playing live and releasing recorded material if you have any questions contact us on our myspace page.
